自己紹介

screenshot_2019-01-28-17-27-03-e1549509224836.pngDid you get all that? haha

Pretty much it’s just a little Japanese self intro I made for my HelloTalk bio. Just wanted to share a quick screenshot here because I’m getting quite proud of my progress as of late. I know it’s nothing fancy but compared to my last 3 self-intros it’s quite amazing I tell you. 😛 My first intro was all English, my second had barely any Kanji, and my third, well let’s just say I was told it was grammatically weird. lol SO compared to those… yeah 😅

Looks like all that chatting with online strangers is paying off. Also all them Anki flashcards! Might be hard to believe but just a few months ago my Kanji was literally non existent. I was one of those peeps that would put all their effort solely into the speaking part. That’s why I’m happy over this little progress.

Excited to see where I go from here. Plan to update this bio again in a few months. My current goal is to know 1000 kanji before the end of the year.

Anywho if you have HelloTalk feel free to add me:

Always happy to gain a new language partner or teacher. 🙂

P.S. if you speak Japanese feel free to correct me and or add some suggestions down in the comments. Thanks~

  1. So awesome to see how fast you’re progressing! As a little note, you don’t always have to start with 「私は」as it’s a grammar structure we learn in classes but in every day speech it’s not usually used. Context informs the reader instantly who the subject/topic is in the sentence. Later on you’ll see not that this is dropped as are particles. Using 「私は」usually is a tell-tale sign to many that Japanese isn’t your native tongue (if frequently used – it’s a little complicated haha). Hopefully that made sense. Have a great time on your journey learning Japanese!
