so earlier I was looking for some Japanese youtubers/ twitch users to follow, cuz you know the whole picking up Japanese again. It’s good to find interesting avenues to practice am I right? Well  it was while searching that I kinda stumbled onto a Japanese dance group that covers kpop songs. yeah all these search engines know exactly what to recommend me don’t they ? lol The group  goes by Chego.

I was watching some of their videos just a minute ago and I really just can’t believe they don’t have double the subs they do. From the behind the scenes and vlogs I’ve seen they appear to be a silly down to earth likeable bunch.  Pretty much my kind of people. And it’s the little extra touches they put into their videos that does it for me.

So basically I was just clicking from random video to random video and  was quickly won over by how good they were at capturing the feel of each song they are covering. Like yeah its one thing to be an awesome dancer and put your spin on things, but like I always say its another to take the extra step to captivate the same level of swagger and even same style of fashions from the MVs they are calling upon.

To me these girls seem like charismatic machines on screen that can adapt to any genre of song. and it’s interesting to see what they’ve been able to pull of, specially with their older videos. When they first started they just filmed on a phone using an app of some kind if you can believe. Which is kinda crazy how i didn’t even notice. Amazing what a person can do on a phone these days right?

Also while doing some added research I also saw them on somebody’s twitch vod from a while ago where they mentioned how if they didn’t reach 10,000 subs by the year’s end they may have had to break up. Apparently they all have their own jobs that make scheduling tough. But before your anxiety starts to raise up, do know they managed to hit 24k easy. Still who knows how things will go since the youtube game is a tough one. It does seem however like they are only getting bigger from a production standpoint so I take it they’re on the right track.

Personally I think they have a good chemistry so I hope they don’t have to give this up anytime soon. So if you could at least give them a quick check out that would be cool though.  here are two of my fave covers by them.

I can easily see the real Blackpink wear these outfits. I always love how into it they get. With that shake cam effect when the bass hits and all. 😃👍 **btw dat touch bodyroll @1:59. you just can’t teach that level of execution.
