Ok I know I’m late to the party but I gotta say this, HYOLYN’s Dally is complete and utter perfection. I’ve been listening to this song non-stop recently and have been loving every fudging second of it! Hyolyn‘s moves in it are just killer. It blows my mind just how sexy and powerful this girl can be.

Such a pain that the routine wasn’t considered “suitable” to be shown on music shows over in S.Korea. It deserves to be. It might be one of my more favorite choreos of the year thus far(it definitely is for a solo artist). It’s sad because I think the extra exposure woulda really helped it get more of a traction. On the other hand I did hear somewhere(not sure where)  that she might not have had plans for it to be actively promoted in the first place. I don’t know how true that is but if it seriously was like that, it makes my gripe moot.

I guess I just really wanted/want more people to discover this you know. Like even if these type of choreos that are on the sexier side aren’t typically your sort of thing I would still recommend giving it a try. The way the moves go with the flow of the song and how effortless she and her back up dancers  make it look despite dancing in heels is remarkable. Really how does one move like that while wearing heels!? Not even just heels but heels that high. It’s crazy yo. Lesser talented dancers could have easily made this look like a “try hard” attempt to be sexy but these girls sure didn’t. Much respect.

Instead they… ahh just watch them show off their dancer swag will you 😎

Leaves you speechless right? My personal highlight in this routine is of course Hyolyn‘s solo. I remember the first time I watched it thinking, “girl you already been slaying up to this point how can do you possibly do anything more awesome?” Then of course she does what she does and you as a person just go, oh that’s how. lol Her transitions between moves is so on point and her confidence is mad strong.

Furthermore, it was while watching THIS Choreo version in particular that I also learned the other girl in the video, Aliya Janell, was the choreographer. Because of how strong I thought the choreo was I obviously dug for some info on her too. And what a good decision that turned out to be. It lead to me finding out her YouTube account. That shizz was equally quality content. From the look of things it  seems she runs a dancing academy of her own or has some sort of dancing studio. I don’t know much about it yet but I saw some of the videos that were up. It was a bunch of people not just her slaying it pretty hard. Like REALLY hard.

**I swear the way Aliya be sliding into them splits should be illegal. Also I can’t help but notice it says “PLAY” in the backround. They outta consider knocking that “P” down and replacing it with an “S” instead. Cuz the level of slayage in their videos is unreal 😛 **

In the end I guess my main point is that that you shouldn’t allow HYOLYN and by extension Aliya as well to continue flying under y’all’s radar. They got some good talent. I remember hearing some people after release saying this song was too sexy and too over the top, and now having checked it out for myself I couldn’t disagree more. Is it sexy? Yeah but in my eyes it’s so much more than just that. So if you’ve heard those type of things too and skipped it because of them please reconsider.

P.S. If you do need to see a live version of Dally, in my humble opinion it does not get any better than the stage she had in Taiwan. Them folks weren’t ready.
